SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to urology and oncology. Clinic examination is carried out and clinical-laboratory indices are determined: extent of operative interference, presence of remote metastases and tumor invasion are taken into account, thrombus dimensions and concentration of fibrinogen in blood serum are determined. Life duration of patient in months (Y) is determined by formula: Y = 43.1 - 19.4·X₁ - 2.58·X₂ + 2.8·X₃ - 0.63·X₄ + 2.4·X₅, where X1"Д"…5 are gradations and numerical values of risk factors, X₁ is operation volume: radical - 1, palliative - 2; X₂ - remote metastases: in lungs -1, in liver -2, in other organs -3; X₃ - tumor invasion: no -1, microinvasion - 1, into wall of vena cava - 2, in renal vein -3; X₄ - thrombus dimensions, cm; X₅ - fibrinogen, g/l.

EFFECT: method provides possibility to predict expected life duration of patients in months by determining indices of standard patient examination and taking into account performed operative treatment.
