FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organic synthesis, specifically to a method of producing new organoaluminium compounds which can be used as components of catalyst systems in oligo- and polymerisation processes of olefin, diene and acetylene hydrocarbons, as well as in fine organic and organometallic synthesis. A method is described for producing 11-magnesatricyclo[10.7.01.12.02.10]nonadeca-9,12-diene of general formula (I), which involves reacting 1,2-cyclononadiene with ethylmagnesium bromide in the presence of magnesium (powder) and a titanocene dichloride catalyst in an argon atmosphere at room temperature in diethyl ether for 8 to 12 hours.
EFFECT: proposed method allows for obtaining a new compound with high regioselectivity and high output 74-89%.
