SUBSTANCE: invention refers to electrical industry and can be used for light source manufacture. Method involves erection of stem, welding, exhaust, filling and basing. To external surface of base there sprayed is corrosion resistant aluminium layer by ion-plasma spraying method in working chamber in glow discharge of inert gas at pressure (1-2)×10-6 mm hg, current of 70-80 A, voltage of 40-50 V, spraying time of 5-10 min and spraying speed of 0.5 mcm/min.

EFFECT: development of effective light source manufacturing method.
