SUBSTANCE: design of optical antenna for optical integrated circuits represents metal planar strip structure applied onto substrate of dielectric material, central element of which is strip joined to two-dimensional photon crystal or active photon-crystal structure. Strip has width by an order greater than least length of wave of optical range electromagnetic radiation, and is surrounded with solid metal area separated from strip with clearance of width that is at least by an order less than length of the same wave. Besides each end of this strip protrudes over the limits of solid metal area.

EFFECT: simplified and cheapened structures working with harmonics in optical range of waves, due to use of traditional (cheap) conductors.
