FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: cross-section area of transparent swelling crystalline lens is measured. If the cross-section area of crystalline lens exceeds 30 mm2, acute exacerbation of secondary phakomorphous closed-angle glaucoma is stated; if the cross-section area of crystalline lens is 27 to 29 mm2, potential development of acute exacerbation of secondary phakomorphous closed-angle glaucoma is predicted. The cross-section area of crystalline lens less than 27 mm2 shows absent risk of development of acute exacerbation of secondary phakomorphous closed-angle glaucoma is predicted.
EFFECT: method enables prediction of risk of development of acute exacerbation of secondary phakomorphous closed-angle glaucoma is predicted at hypermetropic patients.
