FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves condensation of a thin film of palladium or its alloy on a cleaned technical substrate in a vacuum. After condensation the film is separated from the substrate by completely or partially dissolving the substrate in floatation type solutions for the separated film and transferring the film from the aqueous solution to porous membrane holder with subsequent fixture of the film. The film is condensed at temperature of the substrate which provides epitaxial growth of the film, and the substrate material ensures moulding an epitaxial single-orientation film.
EFFECT: improved selective gas permeability of membranes.
