FIELD: manufacture of gas-separating membranes functioning due to selective diffusion of gases through thin metal film.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes application of thin film made from metal or alloy or compounds on their base on cleaned technological substrate followed by separation of metal film from substrate and placing of it on porous holder of membrane. Mono-crystalline silicon plates of instrument quality are used as substrates. For application of film, use is made of one of physical or chemical deposition methods. Separation of metal film from substrate is performed by complete or partial dissolving of substrate in floatation-type solutions. Metal film is transferred to porous holder of membrane from aqueous solution and is secured on holder.
EFFECT: updating of membranes; facilitated procedure; ideal continuity and avoidance of defects in membrane.
