FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ultrasonic diagnostics, and covers estimation of echogenicity of hepatic parenchyma. It involves estimation of hepatic parenchyma structure with applying the histogram method on a separated region as compared to echogenicity of renal cortex. A digital histogram index of average echo-signal intensity of random area of ultrasonic image MN of hepatic parenchyma. A graphic curve of hepatic tissue histogram is plotted. In certain versions of difference in MN indices of hepatic parenchyma as compared to a similar index of renal cortex and difference in MN index of hepatic parenchyma on regions with various echogenicity, and also versions of echo-signal distribution in graphic representation of hepatic parenchyma structure according to the histogram enable to estimate the state of hepatic parenchyma as normal, or as the state of higher echogenicity, or as the state with apparently high echogenicity or as the state of non-uniform echogenicity.
EFFECT: method allows estimating echogenicity of hepatic parenchyma with sufficient accuracy and information value.
