FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of continuous metal cast process. In method of blending mode control there are used inductors (10a-11b), installed in pairs, implemented with ability of vertical sliding by height of ingot-forming equipment. Ensured by progressive motion of inductors it is implemented passing from bottom functional position of impact on incoming jets of metal at a level of outlet ports (17) of pouring nozzle into top functional position. Poured liquid metal rotates around pouring axis at a level of meniscus (9) of liquid metal in ingot-forming equipment and inversely. During passing from one position into the other it is changed connection of inductors at branches of source (7) of electrical feeding, in order to change direction of sliding of magnetic field to inverse only for one or two inductors of one pair, and also for that of two inductors of other pair, which is symmetric to it relative to pouring axis.

EFFECT: improving of ingot.
