FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Four separate multiphase inductors (10a, 10b, 10c, 10d) with sliding magnetic fields are arranged on larger sides (12, 12') on steel mould, two inductors per each larger side. Said adjacent inductors induce motive forces to push fused metal over steel mould width in one direction opposite that of said forces induced by two opposed inductors. After preliminary identification of natural flow mode as either ''single loop'' or ''duel loop'', intensity of motive forces is adjusted. In the case of ''single loop'' flow, intensity of forces pushing metal inside is increased, and per contra. If metal natural flow is ''unstable flow'', intensities of all motive forces are equalised.
EFFECT: uniform axial revolution of fused metal in meniscus area irrespective of natural metal melt bath flow inside steel mould.
