FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: proposed raft bundle comprises limited-buoyancy timbers arranged in bottom, inner and top layers. Inner layer timbers are laid perpendicular to bottom and top layer timbers to rest, by their end faces, upon packs made up of higher-buoyancy round timbers fastened together by flexible hooping and laid parallel to limited-buoyancy timbers of bottom and top layers. Flexible inner hopping arranged horizontally serves to extreme limited-buoyancy timbers of inner layers. Flexible outer hooping embraces packs of higher-buoyancy timbers of bottom and top layers. Vertical hooping fasten inner hooping and outer hooping together. Raft bundle bottom and sides are wrapped in flexible watertight sheet with its edges furnished with strings attached thereto and furnished with coupling devices on their free ends.
EFFECT: rafting on small-depth rivers with no loss of buoyancy.
