FIELD: woodworking industry.

SUBSTANCE: flat raft-assembling unit comprises the rows of long round timber materials and rows of short ones, stacked tiered perpendicular to each other, and located in rectangular frames made of timber materials, bracings and vertical ties are rigidly secured to the lower frame. The timber materials forming the frame are connected by unequal metal corners equipped with vertical lugs and attached by screws with the long sides to the outer side of cross timber materials forming the frame. The short sides are attached to the outer side of the longitudinal timber materials forming the frame. The vertical ties fixed on the lower frame corners are threaded through the lugs of each metal corner and brought to the surface of the raft-assembling unit where they are connected diagonally to each other by means of connecting devices.

EFFECT: increase in strength of the raft-assembling unit.
