FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: water is treated on a reverse osmosis unit and then cooled in a stream with velocity of 300-500 dl/h to temperature of +2 -+3°C. The cooled water is filtered on cartridge filters with retention threshold of 5 mcm and taken for mixing with rectified "Lux" ethyl alcohol to obtain a grade with temperature not above 10-15°C, where the sort is filtered through activated carbon and quartz sand on a carbon-refining battery. If necessary, recipe ingredients are added to the vodka. The ready vodka is cooled in a stream to temperature (-)5÷0°C for 7-10 hours, filtered at cooling temperature, heated under natural conditions to temperature 15-20°C for 3-4 days with subsequent after-filtration and bottling the ready vodka.
EFFECT: reduced concentration of unwanted impurities in form of aldehydes and fusel oils in the ready vodka and improved quality of the vodka.
