FIELD: alcoholic beverage industry. SUBSTANCE: process water is produced from natural water in three stages. In the first stage water is cleaned of coarse suspended particles in a 5-micron filter, then softened to a hardness not over 0.5 mg.equiv/l; in the 2nd stage water is filtered through active carbon to oxidability not over 4 mg O2/l and in the 3rd stage it is demineralized by inverted osmosis. The produced process water is mixed with rectified grain alcohol "Lux" and filtered through submersible filters with a 20-micron mesh. Then the mixture is cooled to minus 4 C and held at this temperature for 8 hours. Final filtering is carried out on membrane microfilters with a positive zeta potential and followed by natural heating to ambient temperature and bottling. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 tbl
