FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: method for enrichment of hematite ores includes stage process of crushing and magnetic-flotation process of enrichment, including three stages of crushing, magnetic separations of the first and second stages accordingly after the first and second stages of crushing, flotation of magnetic product of the second stage of magnetic separation after the third stage of its crushing. Each stage of magnetic separation is carried out in two steps subsequently. Separation of the second step is carried out in intense field. After stage process of crushing, on separators, magnetic system of which provides for arrangement of operation field by magnetic attracting forces along height of separated product layer within the limits of (0.3-3.0)·1011 A2/m2, preliminary magnetic separation of final crushing product is carried out with extraction of magnetic product, which is sent to magnetic-flotation process of enrichment and extraction of nonmagnetic product, which is further taken out of enrichment process. The first step of magnetic separations of both stages is carried out on drum magnetic separators for wet magnetic separation in the middle field with induction on surface of drum not lower than 0.25 tesla during operation of magnetic attracting forces of the field in the working zone of separator (0.7-2.0)·1010 A2/m2. The first step of magnetic separation of both stages is carried out on drum magnetic separators for wet magnetic separation with magnetic systems, which develop identical intensity of magnetic field at equal distances from working surface of drum.
EFFECT: improved index of iron extraction into concentrate and its improved quality, lower energy inputs.
