FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: method involves the following stages: obtaining initial information on surroundings of the liquid object; exposing the liquid object to penetrating radiation; receiving the radiation transmitted through the liquid object to form a data array for exposure at different angles; calculation of the radiation absorption coefficient of the liquid object using inverse operation on the exposure data array taking into account initial information on surroundings of the liquid object and its homogeneity; and comparison of the radiation absorption coefficient with pre-recorded data to obtain corresponding information on the liquid object being analysed. The method is realised using an installation for radiation control of liquid objects.
EFFECT: invention eliminates effect of outer package of the liquid object, provides for safety and reliability.
