FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: method includes arrangement of dam barriers that block riverbed and create temporary storage ponds in the period of spring flood. Dam barriers are arranged in river tributaries, where spring flood is expected, serially one after another. Each dam barrier is arranged in the form of stone filtering embankment with self-regulating spillway designed for throughput of dosed flow from storage pond, amount of which is safe for downstream areas. Body of stone filtering embankment is arranged in steep river canyon and is formed by explosion, demolishing boards of rock canyon into riverbed, in two stages. At the first stage large rock massifs are demolished by explosion and laid into riverbed. At the second stage charges are exploded, which have been arranged with reduced pitch, and produced crushed massifs and small stones are laid into the upper zone of filtering embankment.
EFFECT: reduction of costs for construction of anti-flood barrier dams in hard-to-access mountain regions, increased reliability of anti-flood system.
