FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of obtaining inorganic materials, in particular to method of obtaining hydroxyapatite Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2, used in medicine: as bioactive coating in dentistry, traumatology and orthopedics. Method of obtaining hydroxyapatite includes sedimentation from water solutions of calcium salts and ammonium hydroorthophosphate. To water solution of calcium nitrate 0.05-0.2 M solution of sodium ethylenediaminetetraacetate is added at temperature 40 -70°C, after that ammonium hydroorthophosphate solution is dribbled into the obtained mixture with constant stirring, mixture is heated to 40 - 60°C and kept for 10-20 minutes, sediment is aged during one day, filtered and dried at 100 - 150°C, heated at 250 - 700°C for an hour.
EFFECT: method allows to reduce synthesis process labour-intensiveness and increase final product output.
