FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and devices for preparing fuel mixture and can be used to prepare motor fuel for diesel engines. The result is achieved due to that, in the proposed method, fuel is mixed with 2.5-90 vol. % water and 0.01-0.5 vol. % surfactant. The obtained mixture is passed through a cavitation-type disperser with output of 10-3-2·102 m3/h at pressure of 5-100 kg/cm2 and temperature at the input of 10-100°C. Micro- and nano-regions are created in the water and fuel mixture with pressure and temperature in the said regions 100-1000 times greater than pressure and temperature at the input of the device. Hydrocarbon chains of the fuel and the H+ and OH- bond in water are broken to form new hydrocarbon bonds with bonding of H+ and OH- complexes. In another version of the method, the mixture obtained after addition of over 90 and up to 95 vol. % water is passed through a cavitation reactor with output of 10-3-102 m3/h at pressure at the input equal to 5-100 kg/cm2 and temperature at the input equal to 10-100°C. Cavitational micro- and nano-regions are created in the water and fuel mixture with pressure and temperature in the said regions 10-1000 greater than pressure and temperature at the input of the device. Device for realising the disclosed versions of the method are also proposed.
EFFECT: design of a method and device for preparing a fuel mixture with low power consumption and characteristics which meet motor fuel quality standards and suitable for use in internal combustion engines.
