FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: glass part is fixated in metal clamping part hole before soldering, with film of boron oxide solution in methanol applied. After soldering the joint is tested for strength. In case a seal failure is detected, boron oxide solution in methanol is applied at butt end of the joint, followed by heating to soldering temperature in argon medium, maturing at the said temperature, and cooling to the room temperature. Glass part with film of boron oxide solution in methanol applied is fixated in metal clamping part hole with radial gap of (0.025-0.1) mm.
EFFECT: improved assembly quality, prevented contact of glass part with tool graphite, improved quality of soldering process, enhanced reliability of soldered metal and glass seams.
