FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power industry, in particular to support clamps for fixation and suspension of optical self-bearing communication cables on supports of overhead power transmission lines. Clamp comprises lower layer (2) of separate wire spirals with circular loop (3) in its medium part, to which clamp is fixed to support of overhead power transmission line, and upper layer (4) of separate wire spirals. Diametre of layer (2) is less than diametre of layer (4). Wire spirals of layer (2) are wound directly onto optical cable (1), and wire spirals of layer (4) are wound over turns of the first layer (2) and pass through circular loop (3), tightly pressing lower layer (2) and circular loop (3) to optical cable (1); directions of layers (2) and (4) winding are opposite, which provides for required strength of cable (1) installation in clamp. Length of wire spirals of layer (4) is calculated according to a certain ratio. Wire spirals of lower and upper layers (2) may be joined in strands of parallel spirals by means of glue composition, and abrasive may be applied onto surface of strands facing surface of optical cable (1). Abrasive may be applied onto surface that faces surface of optical cable (1).
EFFECT: clamp is simple in design, low-cost, provides for rated strength of optical cable installation, reliable in process of operation.
