FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: clamp consists of layers (2, 3) of coiled wire. Lower layer (2) is provided with bent section (4) inside which attachment assembly (5) connecting the clamp to support of the line is provided. Upper layer (3) is wound in opposite direction above turns of lower layer (2), thus pressing it to cable (wire) (1). Coil wires of lower and upper layers (2, 3) are twisted between each other. Bent section (4) of layer (2) forms together with cable (wire) (1) closed circuit since its end pieces (6, 7) envelope cable (wire) (1) at two points. Layer (3) at the length of one or more pitches is located within the development length of section (4) of layer (2). Clamp can be equipped with spiral protector wound on cable (wire) (1). Wire spirals of layers (2, 3) can be connected to each other by means of fasteners or attached with bonding agent with application to inner surfaces of wire spirals of lower and upper layers (2, 3) of abrasive material.
EFFECT: clamp design is simple; it provides standard strength of wire termination, reliable in operation, and is being prepared for batch production and delivery to communication lines and overhead electric lines.
