FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: supporting clamp of spiral type with power locks of stepped structure and shortened tread is intended for use on overhead transmission lines and fiber-optic communication lines. Supporting clamp comprises a boat made with a bottom bent at the central and end sections relative to the horizontal, a spiral tread enveloping the wire and at least two power strands with opposite direction of winding of spirals, wound directly above spiral protector and boat.
EFFECT: to save tread metal and power strands by reducing the structure length while maintaining the strength properties of the clamping force strands outside the tread are wound with transition to the wire, wherein power strands have different diameters in their central part, wound on the tread, and at ends wound on the wire.
