FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: in detection and ranging, proposed method is based on conversion of received signal, multiplying it with delayed reference signal and subsequent analysis of obtained variations. In compliance with this method, received signal is multiplied with signals repeating reference signal with different delay times. Frequency analysis of oscillations obtained by aforesaid conversion is performed to determine signal delay time at which amplitude frequency spectrum of oscillations features maximum peak. Frequency corresponding to said peak and aforesaid signal delay time are used to determine required speed and range. Proposed invention is distinguished for possibility to measure speed of and range to moving object using Doppler method.
EFFECT: higher noise immunity at high sensitivity.
