METHOD OF SURGICAL TREATMENT IN CASE OF ABDOMINAL RECTUS MUSCLES DIASTASES Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC A61B17/00

Abstract RU 2393789 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to surgery, and can be used in case of abdominal rectus muscles diastases. Method consists in cutting rectus muscles aponeurosis with opening of abdomen with further sewing of vagina aponeurosis from the left side with right rectus muscle vagina and application of dublication with aponeurosis of vagina of right abdominal rectus muscle. After isolation of aponeurosis, which constitutes anterior leaf of abdominal rectus muscles vaginas, aponeurosis is cut from medial side on the edge of left abdominal rectus muscle vagina, without opening the latter, indenting 0.8-1 cm from rectus muscle edge. Peritoneum is prepared in blunt way with preparitoneal cellular tissue from posterior walls of rectus muscles vaginas to their middle, forming two different aponeurotic flaps. On all length applied is first line of sutures, gripping 0.8-1 cm of aponeurosis of medial edge of abdominal rectus muscle from the left side and posterior leaf of rectus muscle aponeurosis from the right side, thus abdominal rectus muscles are brought together without opening their vagina. After that applied is second line of sutures, fixing free edge of aponeurosis from the right side to anterior wall of left rectus muscle vagina on all length, forming white line of abdomen.

EFFECT: application of invention allows to form white line of abdomen, reduce weakness of anterior peritoneal wall and restore its full function.
