FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. It involves subtotal vitrectomy with kenalog staining a vitreous body, removal of the posterior hyaloid membrane, and introduction of a perfluororganic compound (PFOC). In the first postoperative day, staggered subthreshold laser coagulation of the macular zone surrounding a rupture is performed with green laser of wave length 532 nm, stain diametre 100 mcm, in number of 10-20 coagulates, exposition 0.07-0.1 msec and power 80-120 mWt, followed by removal of PFOS on the third day.
EFFECT: method allows blocking idiopathic macular rupture and provides high and stable visual functions, reduces number of intra- and postoperative complications.
