EARLY DIAGNOSTIC TECHNIQUE FOR SENSORINEURAL DEAFNESS IN PERSONS EXPOSED TO INTEGRATED EFFECT OF PRODUCTION FACTORS Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC A61B5/476

Abstract RU 2394481 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to otoneurology, occupational medicine, and neurophysiology. Electroencephalogram during rest is recorded, spectral and coherence analysis is performed, and the average levels of interhemispheric coherence (ihC) are calculated. In the patients under 15 years of work, if ihC is less than 0.5 in F3F4 leads for the delta and teta ranges, ihC is less than 0.4 in F7F8 and P3P4 leads for the delta range, ihC is less than 0.5 in C3C4 lead for the teta range, ihC is less than 0.35 in T5T6 lead for the teta range; with length of work within 16-20 years, if ihC is less than 0.5 in F3F4 lead for the delta range, ihC is less than 0.5 in F7F8 lead for the alpha range; period of work over 26 years, if ihC is less than 0.5 in F3F4 and Fp1Fp2 leads for the teta range, ihC is less than 0.55 in C3C4 lead for the teta range, initial manifestation of sensorineural deafness is diagnosed. For length of work within 21 to 25 years, no criteria of high sensitivity indices and specificity of medical test are revealed; therefore audiology examination is required for these patients.

EFFECT: method extends the range of products for detecting early signs of sensorineural deafness in persons exposed to the integrated effect of production factors.
