FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: parts are heated in vacuum chamber in two stages. During the first stage a part is heated in vacuum at pressure 10-5-10-6 mm HG to working temperature of part and conditioned during 20-25 minutes to remove harmful impurities; during the second stage the part is heated to homogenisation temperature and conditioned in medium of inert gas at pressure 10-2-10-1 mm HG. Before heat treatment leakage is controlled via an intermediate chamber of atmospheric or raised pressure with detaching the vacuum chamber from pumps.
EFFECT: raised indices of surface layer hardness.
