FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: aim is to increase the steels and alloys physical and mechanical properties due to decrease of alloying components sublimation and intensification of metal degassing. Method provides for high-temperature steel and alloys heating in vacuum up to temperature of hardening with following cooling. Heating up to 800 - 1000 C is exercised in vacuum of 0.133 - 0.00133 Pa /10-3 - 10-5 mmHg/, steels and alloys are held under the conditions for 10 -60 minutes and following heating up to temperature of hardening is exercised in vacuum of 1.33 - 133 Pa /10-5 - 1.0 mmHg/ using inert gas introduction. EFFECT: increased steels and alloys physical and mechanical properties.
