FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing complex ether of cellulose which contains sulphate and phosphate groups at the same time. Cotton, wood or flax cellulose is preliminarily held in N,N-dimethylformamide. Cellulose is etherified with a solution of phosphorus oxide, water and chlorosulphonic acid in N,N-dimethylformamide. The product is extracted. The obtained product is neutralised with a NaOH solution and purified.
EFFECT: provision for single step production of a water-soluble complex ether of cellulose based on fibre and powder forms of cellulose extracted from different plant material.
