FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: device relates to devices for electrohydraulic treatment and disinfection of food and waste liquid media and can be used in different industries. The device has a dc high-voltage source connected to a pulse current generator which is connected to a system for generating multichannel discharges which has several pairs of electrodes which form discharge gaps in the treated medium and capacitors whose first terminals are joined. The pulse current generator consists of a storage capacitor and a discharge switch connected in series. The second terminals of the capacitors are connected in series to first electrode pairs and the joined terminals of capacitors which generate voltage on the discharge gaps which is higher than voltage of the high-voltage source are connected to the dc high-voltage source and an extra discharge switch. The extra discharge switch is in turn connected to the pulse current generator. The second electrode pairs of the discharge gaps are joined and connected to the pulse current generator.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of treating liquid media and output.
