FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves loading a disposable loading unit with a sampling apparatus into a container with molten mass, filling the sampling apparatus with the molten mass and solidification of the molten mass. The loading unit is then withdrawn from the container with molten mass and the sample is extracted or the sampling apparatus is removed from the loading unit. The sample is removed from the sampling apparatus and oxidation and contamination of the extracted sample is prevented. The sample or sampling apparatus with the sample is extracted through the inner space of the loading unit. The device has a loading unit with a sampling apparatus, a measuring bar, a hoisting mechanism for the bar, a recharging device for changing loading units and a mechanism for extracting samples or sampling apparatus from the loading unit. The device also has a chemical analysis device, a device for moving the sample to the chemical analysis device and a system for blowing an inert gas medium. The loading unit has a cardboard case with the sampling apparatus attached at the lower end. The loading unit is fitted such that the cardboard case is in line with the rod and the sampling apparatus is fitted such that it is possible to extract the sample or sampling apparatus through the inner space of the loading unit. The rod also hollow and the mechanism for extracting the sample or sampling apparatus from the loading unit is in form of a clamp fitted inside the rod on a bar. A drive is mounted on the rod in order to move the bar along the axis of the rod. The device also has a mechanism for releasing the sample from the sampling apparatus.
EFFECT: more rapid chemical analysis of molten mass and increased reliability of the measurement system.
