FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology and can be used for scleral cavity scarring prevention in antiglaucomatous operations (AGO). The method involves that the AGO is followed with the administration of anti-inflammatory preparations. It combined with instillations of Thymolol by 1 drop once a day in the conjunctival cavity of an operated eye. The instillations are applied for the first postoperative month, and then for 1 month starting from the 3rd postoperative month.
EFFECT: method considerably reduces risk of excessive scarring in an operative area, completely eliminates risk of aggravated inflammation and development of autoimmune reactions.
