FIELD: working complex shaped surfaces of machine parts and fitting such as die sets, press-molds, casting molds. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of measuring amplitude-time characteristics of pulse and performing regulation according to waveform of pulse and to signal taken off interelectrode gap; at measuring amplitude-time characteristics of pulse eliminating its front and back edges; subtracting from remained part of pulse linear function drawn by coordinates of origin and final points and completing received function at left side and at right side by similar function symmetrically turned relative to origin and final points; resolving formed periodical function by well known rules to Fourie series; determining form factor of amplitude-time characteristics of pulse; regulating feed speed of tool-electrode while taking into account said factor.
