FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pulsed electromachining of steels and alloys and may be used in precision copying broaching in making complex-surface machine parts and tools from hard metals. Proposed method comprises copying the shape of electrode oscillation and feeding trains of microsecond current pulses timed to maximum approach between electrode and machined part. It includes measuring several matched voltages and currents in every current pulse. Besides, it comprises calculating appropriate resistance of electrode gap and controlling machining in response to variation of the latter. In machining, duration of electrode gap resistance settling is defined. Then, relation between said duration and current pulse duration is calculated to adjust amplitude-time parameters of current pulses so that preset calculated magnitude is ensured.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of copying and efficiency.
