FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of preparing nanodispersed hydroxyapatite through deposition from solutions of salts of calcium and phosphates of alkali metals and/or ammonia in the presence of a biopolymer, e.g. gelatine or starch with concentration of 0.1-1 wt %. The calcium phosphate precipitate having Ca/P ratio of 1.67 formed for moulding particles of nanodispersed hydroxyapatite is seasoned for 24 hours at room temperature and then annealed at 600-700°C for 0.5-4 hours.

EFFECT: method enables to obtain nanodispersed hydroxyapatite powder which is suitable for production of medical materials having particle size of 5-50 nm.
