FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Method for producing composite powders from two-component mixtures of hydroxyapatite and wollastonite, which are biocompatible with human bone tissue, while mixing aqueous solutions of calcium hydroxide, orthophosphoric acid and five-water sodium silicate, the ratio of the concentrations of the Ca/P reagents is set at 1.67, and Ca/Si = 1.00, amount of Ca(OH)2, H3PO4 and Na2SiO3 are calculated from the Ca/P and Ca/Si values and the selected proportion of hydroxyapatite/wollastonite in the powder of the desired mass, the pH is maintained at 12.00±0.05, after precipitation, the resulting solid phase is kept under the mother liquor for 24 hours at a temperature of 22–25 °C, filtered, washed with distilled water, dried at 90 °C to constant weight and calcined at 1,000 °C for 2 hours. Powders are intended for filling defects of teeth and bones in stomatology, maxillofacial surgery, traumatology, orthopedics.

EFFECT: process uses reagents that do not lead to formation of harmful by-products.
