SUBSTANCE: device includes crankcase lubrication by submersing the teeth of low-speed wheel into liquid lubricant and forced lubrication of high-speed wheels with spring-loaded plunger. Plunger is arranged in oil bath in the bore of the crankcase bottom and is brought into action with cam installed on the shaft of low-speed step. Plunger includes filter installed before suction channels and shutoff valves installed in pressure lines. At plunger stroke the liquid lubricant from plunger compression cavity is supplied via pipelines to engagement zone of wheel teeth and to support assemblies of high-speed shafts of reduction gear unit.

EFFECT: increasing service life and improving operating reliability of vertical parallel-shaft reduction gear unit.
