SUBSTANCE: in order to prevent separation of primary coating in zones with high load there obtained is hot-rolled steel bar which contains the following, wt %: C-0.10 or less, Si - (2.0-7.0), Mn-(0.02-0.30), S and/or Se-(0.001-0.04) in total and Fe and inevitable impurities are the rest, there performed is annealing of hot-rolled bar, finishing of annealed bar to the plate with final thickness of one or more cold rollings or two or more cold rollings or two or more cold rollings with intermediate annealing, decarburising annealing of cold-rolled plate, coating of steel plate surface with annealing separator, drying and final annealing of plate with coating; at that, annealing separator consists mainly of MgO with rear-earth metal compound in quantity of 0.1-10.0 wt %, in terms of rear-earth metal, with content of alkaline-earth metal of one or more elements chosen from the group Ca, Sr and Ba, in quantity of 0.1-10.0 wt %, in terms of alkaline-earth metal and content of sulphur compound in quantity of 0.01-5.0 wt %, in terms of S. Plate has primary coating consisting of forsterite and compound (A) having one or more elements chosen from group Ca, Sr and Ba, at least one rear-earth metal and sulphur.
EFFECT: increased adhesion of coating used in transformer with ribbon core.
