SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, namely to a sheet of electrical steel with an oriented grain structure. The sheet of electrical steel contains the main steel sheet and the primary coating formed on the surface of the main steel sheet. The main steel sheet has a chemical composition including, wt. %: C: 0.0050% or less, Si: 2.5 to 4.5%, Mn: 0.02 to 0.20%, one or more elements selected from a group consisting of S and Se: only 0.005% or less, Al acid solution: 0.010% or less, N: 0.010% or less, the rest is Fe and impurities. The primary coating contains Mg2SiO4 as the main component. The primary coating satisfies the conditions: (1) the density of the number of D3 areas of Al concentration: from 0.015 to 0.150/mcm2; (2) (the area of S5 areas, which is the area of the fixing oxide layer and is also the area of Al concentration) /(the area of S3 areas of Al concentration) ≥ 0.30; (3) the distance H5 from the average value of the height in the direction of the thickness of the areas, which are the areas of the fixing oxide layer, as well as the areas of Al concentration, minus H0: from 0.4 to 4.0 mcm; (4) (perimeter of L5 areas, which are areas of the fixing oxide layer, as well as areas of Al concentration)/(observed area S0): from 0.020 to 0.500 mcm/mcm2; (5) (area S1 of the areas of the fixing oxide layer)/(observed area S0) ≥ 0.15.

EFFECT: sheet has excellent magnetic properties and adhesion of the primary coating.
