SUBSTANCE: detector (104) includes a naked conductor (105) tied to a support (112), which is configured to hold the naked conductor (105) within the path of an electron beam (106); an earthed conductor (107) which is insulated from the naked conductor (105), the earthed conductor (107) partly surrounds the naked conductor (105) in order to form a plasma screen having a window lying in at least the direction of the path of the electron beam.
EFFECT: shielding the conductor from plasma.
