FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: radio network resource controller instructs a first network node, associated with a first cellular region, or a wireless terminal communicating through the first cellular region to measure and send data relating to radio resources selected from a group comprising: resource activity in terms of the channel; number of samples of transmitted power which exceed a threshold during the measurement period; and channel quality samples which exceed a quality threshold value. The controller then receives at least one data measurement message relating to radio resources, and in functional dependency on data relating to radio resources in the first cellular region, dynamically reallocates resources such as radio-frequency channels, associated uplink and downlink transmission between the first cellular region and at least a second cellular region.
EFFECT: optimisation of repeated use of frequency in cellular communication systems, efficient and dynamic reduction of interference for controlling inherent interference between mobile devices and base stations.
