FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instruments to check up state of the main braking system in road conditions. Dynamics of brake pedal travel is determined by determining interval of brake displacement relative to two fixed magnitudes to compare measured magnitude with preset one. Current braking conditions are signalled in case measured and preset dynamics values agree. Proposed device comprises deceleration pickup, force pickup, button to lock the moment of depressing the force pickup, deceleration pickup signal amplifier, force pickup signal amplifier, microprocessor, control keyboard, indicator, first and second brake pedal position pickup, brake pedal travel dynamics analysis unit and braking condition signalling indicator. Brake pedal travel dynamics analysis comprises differentiating circuit, OR element, shift register, pulse generator, AND-NO element, AND element, counter and decoder.

EFFECT: higher validity of check results.
