FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: in magnetic-liquid packing of non-magnetic shaft magnetic system of sealing is made in form of bushing out of magnetic conducting material enveloping shaft with gap. On surface of the bushing facing the shaft there are made grooves. On ends of external surface of the bushing there are made lugs adjoining opposite poles of the magnet. Efficiency of packing is raised due to grooves on surface of the shaft facing bushing; the grooves are made in form of a dovetail and filled with a diamagnetic material.
EFFECT: simplified design of packing and its maintenance, increased processability and reliability.
