SUBSTANCE: intervertebral disk prosthesis comprises first and second coupled elements. At least a part of the first element overlaps a part of the second element to provide mutual interlock. The first and second elements are rotatable and movable progressively relatively to each other. Each of the first and second elements comprises generally an elongated body, thereby when the first and second elements are interlocked, then the disk is generally X-shaped.
EFFECT: invention enables subcutaneous implantation, replacement or adjustment.
