SENSOR FOR SEARCHING FOR DEFECTS IN UNDERGROUND UTILITY LINE Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC G01M3/24 F16D3/06 G01V3/12

Abstract RU 2408859 C2

FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: sensor for searching for defects in underground utility lines has a cowling in whose bottom part there is a membrane with a piezoelectric element pressed to the said membrane, and a cover joined to the cowling. A holder is built into the cover in form of a pipe on whose ends of which there are electromagnetic antennae spaced apart by a basic distance and leads from the electromagnetic antennae and piezoelectric elements are connected to a computer.

EFFECT: easier search for underground utility lines and easier search for defects on said lines.
