FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: device includes current sensor, analog-digital converter, optical cable for transmitting digital code to ground potential, analog-digital converter for converting digital code into signal proportional to measured current. In this device at current measuring conductor there installed is low-voltage measuring current transformer as current sensor that has high accuracy rating, the secondary coil of which contacts high-voltage current measuring conductor and is connected to the input of analog-digital converter fed by the supply of direct current received via use of measured current transforming. The output signal of analog-digital converter through delay unit is transmitted to digital-to-analog converter the output of which is connected to signal receiver. The housings of digital-to-analog converter and signal receiver are at ground potential.

EFFECT: current measurement accuracy improvement.
