FIELD: fire safety.
SUBSTANCE: in order to ensure fire safety in the combustible component of the structural element near its surfaces which in operation may come into contact with oxidising gas atmosphere moving in the ventilation flow, extinguishing element made of non-combustible material is located in the workplace of the pressurised compartment, not melting in combustion and not soaking with the melt of combustible component of the structural element. Fire-extinguishing element is made without tearing and is located over its entire area if possible, at equal distance from the surface of the combustible component of the structural element, which under operation conditions may come into contact with the moving oxidising gas atmosphere in the ventilation flow, and the layers of combustible materials located between the fire-extinguishing element and an oxidising gas atmosphere moving in the ventilation flow, are made with the minimum possible thickness.
EFFECT: invention enables to ensure fire safety of pressure shells of spaceships with high reliability and without use of fire extinguishers, with low material costs through their supply with constructions that do not support combustion.
