FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises cooling by steel cooling device consisting of outer feeder incorporating air feed system, multiple air spray nozzles arranged on air spraying surface of said feeder, and inner feeder with cooling water feed system and multiple cooling water spray nozzles arranged on spraying surface of said feeder. Cooling stability results from discharge of air that tends to get in flow channel that extends to cooling device outlet at low amount of fed water at low pressure.
EFFECT: elimination of steel plate deformation in transportation and cooling after hot rolling.
