FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to food and provender milling industry. The method envisages two-stage processing of the original product. The first stage involves the product air drying followed by fermentation activity stabilisation by way of mixing the original product with a filler containing 0.2% of stabiliser. Then the produced mixture is air-cooled. The first and the second stage proceed at specific values of air flow rate, temperature, moisture content and filler quantity. The installation consists of the following elements, serially connected for the first stage: original product preliminary drying chambers, a mixer, a chamber for preliminary cooling of the produced mixture, the chambers containing slanted perforated grates. For the second stage of the product processing there are final drying chambers, a mixers and final cooling chambers as well as an absorption cooling installation. The final cooling chamber includes a boiler, a condenser, an evaporator, an absorber, a pump and thermoregulating valves, a fan for delivery of exhaust air from drying and cooling chambers into the absorption cooling installation so that to form a closed circuit. The installation is equipped with a moisture separator and a speed regulator.
EFFECT: invention enables intensification and reduction of energy intensity of the original product processing process, improvement of efficiency of the product stabilisation process and application field extension.
